Amputee Stump Protector

Wool products are especially beneficial for people with restricted mobility. All of our health and wellness products are made with 1" pile health density Merino sheep's wool fabric and are washable to hospital standards. Our wool products also meet Canadian infection control standards.

The warmth of the wool is most helpful with alleviating the “phantom” feeling and ache in the stump for amputee patients. Elastic with Velcro closing for size adjustment.

We have a variety of Stump Protectors (measure around the base of stump to size):
Arm/Ankle Small (base of the stump ranges from 8.5”-10.5") and 5" deep
Below Knee Medium (base of the stump ranges from 12.5”-15.5”) and 6" deep
Below/Above Knee Large (base of the stump ranges from 18.5”-23.5”) and 6" deep
Above Knee XL (base of the stump ranges from 21.5”-28.5”) and 10" deep
 
Care:
Machine wash up to 70°C on wool or gentle cycle
Tumble dry to 85%, then hang to dry or dry in machine on low temp
Do not bleach
Can be laundered to hospital standards
Some natural de-fleecing may occur. If desired, place in dryer and tumble without heat before use.
